Hey guys, I just want to tell you that God is so amazing and I want my experience to encourage other Christians.
I was born into a christian family and was brought up to believe God exists. I grew up believing God exists, but I had no evidence to show God’s existence. I asked my parents “what is God?”, “who is God?” but the answers they gave never satisfied my curiosity, so I prayed everyday out of respect for my parents. I had recently turned four and I was still in the dark about who or whatever God was. At the time, we were asking God for a car. Every morning we wake up my dad told me to ask God for a car as he answered the prayers of little children but I got fed up wondering who is this person I had never seen but kept talking to and I asked my dad why we had to cling so hard to a God that doesnt answer prayers. My dad laughed and said God’s time is the best. I took his words to mind and out of respect continued praying but never once ever believing in the prayers I prayed to God. My brother and I went to stay at our cousin’s place for a little while. We remained there for a month. Unknown to me God was devising a means for me too believe in him. On July 10th, 2010, my mom came to our cousin’s house and said “I have a car now”. In disbelief I packed my things and came home expectantly. Once we got home, I could see the car and I was overjoyed. I was so happy I didn’t even greet my father. I just ran inside the car to enjoy it, and then my father just came to my side and said “do you now believe God exists?”. I was so excited that I had no choice but to believe. I just want to say to whoever is reading this that God is too good to fail and that He is just too fresh. If you have something you want God to do for you, just believe in Him and let it go and surely, He will do it for you. You may say that my dad convinced me to believe by saving money, but I just want to tell you to seek the face of God and then you will understand. If God can do it for me then there isn’t any doubt that he can do it for you, JUST BELIEVE. Thank you for reading.
